So he definitely controls him financially. Maybe Jon had a part time job which Elias had him quite so he could ‘focus’. Now if Jon lost Elias he would have nothing.
Tells him what to wear, he probably tossed a lot of Jon’s old clothing when he moved Jon into a new flat. He buys him clothes he wants to see him in.
He had the key to his flat, and walks in whenever wants.
Controls what he eats, probable started with subtle suggestions in the beginning, now he just orders for Jon when they go to restraints and such.
He vets all of Jon’s friends, but also anytime Jon makes plans Elias finds some reason to ruin them. So he keeps Jon dependent.
Finally any medications Jon needs, Elias probably set him up when a specific doctor that Elias can control. So when he wants to interfere with Jon’s BC he can, and Jon of course blames himself, because clearly he’s the one who messed up.
Also ways that he makes Jon uncertain, like giving Jon very short warning he’s coming over. Setting impossible standards, so Jon can never meet them. Giving him praise but it’s always conditional. Just Elias making him think everything he does isn’t good enough.
