Jon who has very complicated feelings about everything in regard to romance and sex. It always got in the way of their past relationships, unable to explain.

Jon being his doll, it doesn’t need to worry about the complicated barbed feelings around relationships. Dolls aren’t people, it is just a thing to be used. Dolls can be cherished and loved but it doesn’t have to reciprocate, doesn’t have to untangle that ball of feelings.
Elias can dress it however he wants, he takes such good care of it. It is a cherished possession, to be treated with affection, but only in a way a doll should be. Elias can treat it like a person sometimes, or wind it up to have it move about on its own for a bit, but it is a doll and it needs its owner.
It can be manipulated and posed how its owner wants, admiring it, but it doesn’t have to do anything. Elias can use it all he wants, it just has to lie there and take it. It can’t fight, can’t argue, can’t even speak or move. It is only there to look nice and be used and there is no room for any other thoughts.
It’s exactly what it wants.
