Hey I'm currently working my way through tma (it's very good) mostly due to your blog. Now I'm getting interested in thirteen storeys... can you tell me anything about it? Is it anything like tma?

Thirteen Storeys is a horror book written by the same man that writes TMA - Jonathan Sims. It’s his first proper novel and I was excited to read it since he announced it, given his writing for TMA is so phenomenonal.
It takes on a similar format to his other horror writing; it’s first and foremost a murder mystery, but the victim himself had 12 guests at his house at the time of death for a dinner party, and the book has one chapter for each guest plus a closing chapter - getting to know them episodically and how they’re involved.
I absolutely loved it. I read about ¾ of it in one day, hooked. It does follow dream-like horror logic rather than fully realistic horror, much like TMA.
If you decide to pick it up I hope you enjoy it!! I’m also now listening to the audiobook, which has a full cast for all the characters. It’s so brilliant.
