The beauty of Jonelias is that they match each other’s freak but also match each other’s non-freak. Black coffee drinkers. You get it.

This man wants your knowledge.

Relistening to tma and Paranoid Jon is my favourite Jon. He’s spitting ‘SUpPLEMental’ into that mic, almost everything he’s saying is on the wrong track, and he’s presumably doing the dishes at some point, probably with the same level of twitchy intensity. Maybe I should draw that too?, idk

A restaurant named You’re Not Supposed To Be Here, where the whole point is that the vibes are unnerving. The lighting is weird, the whole place has a faint scent that’s not a bad smell, but it’s certainly not food smell and you can’t quite identify what the hell it is. The music is weirdly janky and you can’t quite tell what’s wrong with it, the vocals aren’t exactly garbled but sung in a language you swear you’ve never heard anywhere and couldn’t name if you tried. Only hiring staff who have anxiety and they’re 100% permitted to show how much your presence here stresses them out.

my intellectual tma comic

tbh personal annoyance but i hate when people call the magnus archives a ‘workplace comedy’ like i knowwww you’re just being silly but it feels so ‘zero media literacy’ sorry. sorry. the magnus archives is a horror podcast. not a scary one at all imo but it is a horror podcast and to reduce it to gross mischaracterization & incorrect quotes blogs makes me just cringe a little

rneliflua:

the fandom experience is seeing someone make a joke that twists your blorbo’s characterization for comedic purposes and not saying anything because you know its just a joke and you don’t want to be a killjoy but also knowing this kind of thing definitely influences unironic depictions of the blorbo so you just stand there like that meme of the guy with his lips pursed and his veins popping

a lot of stories treat romance like it makes the relationship between two characters self explanatory and to be honest it doesn’t

story: they’re in love :)

me: why?

story: what do you mean? they’re in love :)

me: what do they bring to each other’s lives? what do they admire about one another? what draws them to each other?

story: love :) :)

me: ok… so what is that going to look like now?

story: like love :) :) :)

me: are their personalities going to clash at all? are they going to have arguments? learn to compromise for each other? will they need to adapt to sharing their life with another person? is it going to be smooth perfect harmony from day one? are they going to be always together? see each other sometimes as their occupations allow? how does this relationship affect their lifes.

story: they’re in love :) :) :)
