a mother being so absolutely loving of his son she appreciates everything he tells her and instead of growing up in society’s mold of what a “man” is, she wants him to express himself and embrace everything he holds dear to his heart

I have lived my whole life in Eastern Finland, Northern Karelia and from that and since I’ve started studying Russian in high school I’ve grown to be more and more curious about the cultural exchanges between Russians and Finns. This is just a passion, I’m not a scholar or a researcher, but I do honestly want to bring in the light the customs, traditions, folklore, religions and the role of history from these cultures and explore attitudes and presumptions that often come up in my everyday life. I used a Russian character of mine here, with some Karelian knitting patterns, and there may or may not be some religious undertones here.
I embrace learning about cultures that differ from mine, and I want to share that love for others, too.

Atmospheric art work and a very interesting topic.
i’ve noticed that ive gotten a bit less activity with my stuff, could be because ive drawn more obscure stuff lately, could be because i don’t draw much aa, whatever it might be. i’m asking y'all, please send me an ask (of course you can use anon!) and say what you’d like to see more from me! ships, characters, comics, fluff, similar fandoms, etc!
im continuing to also do other stuff on the side, but for me to know what y'all would like to see y'all could tell me first!
