aaah what a nice message!! thank you!! to be honest in the height post me captioning it “jon is like 5 ft tall” was a joke, the way i draw their heights fluctuates somewhat but i hc jon being more like 5'4 (~162 cm) and martin 6'1 (~185 cm)!
i cherish all tma depictions the same, but just, especially jon i just cant think being anything above average height lol
it is year 2011 and these two are the coolest doctors on the block

so martin would probably stream some fantasy rpg, like skyrim, fallout etc. what have at you (he’d definitely be one of those nerds that spends like 2h at character creation fleshing out their backstory)
jon doesn’t really understand it, but he really likes seeing martin ramble on at dinner about some funny donation or a moment with perfect timing
when you’re streaming, a lot of people have this character they have created for entertainment - i like to think martin would be really petty and comically haughty with his online persona, pretending to be cold-hearted and unempathetic toward fictional characters and other players for laughs (obviously recognizing that it’s for a comedic purpose and not with real spite)
jon doesn’t really get this either, i mean he does know WHY he does it but he doesn’t quite dip into the same characterization if he ever happens to pop on the stream
so whenever jon enters the room, the chat goes hog-wild. because u know. it’s the ‘‘socially inept and oblivious boyfriend of this streaming bastard’‘. playing into his character, martin would lean back and take a sip of his iced tea in a smug way while jon would do something like wrap his arms around his neck conversationally, with martin casually asking if he had a good walk.
but then
jon would slip out something devastingly revealing, like ‘‘oh, betty-sue was on the field grazing again, the farmer said that she was bouncing back from her pneumonia well!’‘ martin spits out his tea.
he sputters in dismay: ‘‘oh my god- jon, not in fr- not right now!’‘, ushering him out of the picture. but poor jon doesn’t get it. he just stands there confused. continuing after an awkward silence: ‘‘but
she had the earmuffs you gave her on, the farmer even said that she’d be happy to see you again too after such a long time.’‘ martin has perished.
after the initial impact, only one comment repeats on the chat:

thank you!! ngl i sometimes miss the mark with the colours since my laptop screen is very dull in color, which in especially in michael’s case in my latest art i had to upload the picture to my phone and recolor and upload again and bring the vibrancy down and upload again and tweak the curves about 10 times lmao

I have a question I hope you can mayb answer, is Jon short/Martin tall in canon, I’m only on episode 90ish and so far haven’t heard anything that would confirm either of these far as I remember, I remember smthin about Martin being “big” as he tried to squeeze in somewhere but I took this to mean big as in fat, just asking cause I imagine Jon as being skinny and average-tall and Martin as short and chunky so want to know if that stuff is canon or just popular headcanons.
good question!! yes, martin has referred to himself as “not exactly the smallest guy in the world” with a character in s5 referring to him as ‘positively roomy’! i interpret this myself as him being both tall and just a chunky lad!
jon is a bit more obscure, i think a few characters have referred to him as “little man”, though it’s unclear if it’s actually describing his stature or just an insult. he also mentioned in some episode i think in s2 that the heavy (metal) pipe he was carrying was useless because he couldn’t use it as a weapon, while elias used it with ease while he was doing his.. deed (so jon is either smaller in size or just doesnt lift lol)
so i myself took a run with these details and made martin tall and jon itty bitty. because personally, thats what nature intended
