i have an anxiety disorder where i pick at my skin all the time, and i’m practically covered in scars from it, literally all over. but the way you draw jon’s scars from the worm attack, his scars look a Lot like mine and you draw him so prettily and i love that his scars just Accent his looks. it helps me feel okay about myself, and i feel more validated in my scars. i love how you draw, it’s absolutely gorgeous and it’s so nice to see a feature of myself that i loathe so much so nicely drawn into a character that i love, like his scars don’t matter and he’s still pretty despite them. it’s really nice.

this is really sweet of you to say. what i was initially worried was that the scars weren’t ‘canonical’ enough (as in didn’t look enough like ‘WORM scars’), but if one person can relate to how they look i think they have served their purpose
