I mainly do long term and paragraphs and Ide prefer over 18’s due to the subject matters. This is a monster of the hunt that manifests in far too shallow or unfitting bodies of water to prey on unsuspecting individuals. It can’t manifest in clear water but if the water is murky or muddy then oh boy your in trouble.
It’s a manifestation of the fear of a large predator being in water you can’t see.
Alasdair Stuart really *loves* playing Peter Lukas in The Magnus Archives and is all round a delightful human being.
I think it would be cool to put together a collection of letters/notes, fanart, and fic about the character to thank him for the awesome performance, which I would give to him at the next con we’re both heading to in February.
These would probably mostly be collected onto a USB stick, but I could arrange physical items if people wanted to send prints or something (I love you fandom, but printer ink is expensive XD).

Hmmm being trapped in very mundane settings and routines. Bound to a fate I can’t control set out for me by my blood and upbringing. An inevitability to self destruction that I can’t quite escape.
Monsters that are tall and loom over me,their limbs outstretched and dragging on the floor,mouth and eyes open and wide. Representing the adult figures in my life who always looked down on me and often oppressed and suffocated me with their version of ‘love’ to keep me bound in place.
Empty supermarkets where the lights buzz and hurt my eyes. Long roads that I know that go for miles and repeat
