I know lonely eyes is a bit of a meme ship but like when you think about it it’s a really damn sad ship.
These fellas are on the same side sure but eventually they’ll have to turn on each other when either ones ritual takes place. And I imagine being emotionally involved with the living embodiment of loneliness is stressful. Even if he adores you and is very open about it.

I experimented with giving him an eagle because of their symbolism for the divine and leadership or something but nothing quite fitted like an owl as his familiar.🦉
I chose a white eagle owl. They look powerful and big.
