ending a very long day with a very stressful Email Situation is quite possibly the worst way to end a very long day. i count myself as a resilient person but something about tech issues just brings me close to tears every single time.
sometimes doing a PhD is staring at the sentence you just wrote and wondering who in the hell let you into the doctoral school because what the fuck is that.

walked into one of my kitchen cupboards earlier and i can already tell that the bridge of my nose is going to bruise like hell. so that’s nice. not a great omen for the week ahead, is it.
