Peter and Elias write the most ridiculous maudlin bittersweet love letters to each other. Elias always knows what port Peter will be at next, there’s always a letter waiting, and he always sends one back. Jonah had always liked sending letters and Peter is an old fashioned guy, he likes it too. Elias is much more emotionally open in letters than he ever is in person.
