Caligo, but in a more... menacing form. Lest this post serve an introduction to my passion project, Necropolis. A world where necromancy is a primary magic craft used by practicioners, shrouded with mystery, grotesque images, and it's surprisingly grim beauty.

ASSEMBLERS
The assembler types of necromancers are deemed to be the least dangerous of the three. Every necromancy practitioner who is gifted with a connection with the dead and the anatomy of the grim, possesses the ability to manipulate the energy of life itself. However, they do not act as a source of it, but simply as a catalyst, allowing the power to flow through them, manipulating the object to their bidding. Thus, if there is no object or creature to receive energy from, they use up their own, which means that they risk draining themselves of life should they overuse their ability. Which is, you'd admit, is quite dangerous, as a simple spell done incorrectly can be a kamikaze mission. A necromancer with experience is capable of reversing the process, should any damage be inflicted upon themselves. Despite that, with enough time and close calls, a necromancer can obtain a malnourished, mildly undead likeness.
