fits perfectly into my headcanon that elias just. loves to be hated. not necessarily even in a sexual context, some wires are just permanently crossed in his brain that make him interpret hatred as the highest form of praise. he really takes the whole “i thrive on your hatred” thing to a new level. he craves that hostility. he finds apprehension to his very existence incredibly validating.
of course he’d be the affectionate one in the relationship. honestly if anyone shows him affection he probably goes full tsundere mode, so this is. kind of perfect for him.
they’re both just taking their anger out on him and he knows it. and he likes it. it’s a mutually benefitial relationship, really.
