Comfort book(s): if we’re including badly translated chinese light novels that became my hyperfixation in high school, tong hua’s ballad of the desert and it’s devastating sequel, song in the clouds (i gained permanent emotional scars from these two and i don’t think i’ll ever recover from them. they all suffered and for what??? 10/10 will reread if i have the time)
