started practising backgrounds every day for 30 minutes. these are the first 3 days so far

unsure of what i’m practising, but i guess just getting more used to drawing buildings because i SUCK at them. and colors.

(the last one took an hour just because adding a bigger spider-man took another half hour)

first one without ref, the second one is directly based on a photo by davymacknyc on instagram and the third one is based on several photos i found on pinterest

i drew these guys for my partner and his lawfully wedded bff for christmas. we turned them into shaker charms with lil’ trinkets and a gremlin version of each other in their heads.

she opened her present early, at our insistence, so i can share them here

i have been working on this (for me) pretty ambitious piece.

was originally only supposed to be my regular building/background/environment practise, but turned into an elaborate geraskier thing that has taken me two days so far.

i wanna color it too… melitele help me

(this is a mix of show and video game designs! i’m afraid i love joey batey’s powder blue version of jaskier just too much, but i mixed a bit of cavill and game armor for geralt)

made a profile picture for OC social media (deleted my account again, because company did weird AI stuff), but i still very much like this piece

it took me nearly 1.5 years to finish the companion piece to this Orym i drew last april.

something about the pose just did not sit well with me and i had to pause working on it. opened the file again today and redid everything completely, and it didn’t even take as much time as Orym (sob)
