Inktober day one! Prompt: crystal

I wasn’t going to follow the official prompt list, but then there were a few requests I got that just fit really well so I did it anyway hehe

[ID: two images of an Indian ink and watercolour drawing of Oliver Banks and Jennifer Ling from the Magnus Archives. The second image is a close up of the first. It shows a scene from episode 42: Oliver stands in front of display window of the shop he works at. It’s nighttime and the lights are off inside. The gold text on the window reads “crystals - books - tarot”. Oliver looks gloomily at someone who’s not within the frame of the drawing, but she (as well as Oliver himself) is shown in the reflection of the window. It’s Jennifer Ling, and she has tendrils coming out of her ears /End ID]

Inktober day nine! Prompt: pressure

It didn’t feel right to colour this one, so I used washed ink instead. It felt almost difficult to breathe the entire time I worked on this ^^;

[ID: four images of an Indian ink drawing of Daisy from The Magnus Archives. The last three images are close ups of the first. It shows Daisy trapped in the casket of The Buried. She’s in the image three times, as if they are three different frames of the comic, and each time she appears to be more engulfed by the mass of earth and rock, and more exhausted. /End ID]

I finished my third relisten of TMA a few days ago and I can’t stop thinking about Gerry.. I’m away from home today and spent a lot of time in the backseat of the car, so plenty of time to sketch Gerry in a timeline where he got surgery in time :’)

[ID: a pencil portrait of Gerry Keay from the Magnus Archives. He’s a white man with long black hair, that’s shaved on one side, revealing a large half circle scar. /End ID

Inktober day 22! Prompt: open

That is pretty exactly how I imagined Michael and it doesn’t happen often that I get it right in one go :))

[ID: two images of an Indian ink and watercolour drawing of Helen Richardson and Michael Distortion from the Magnus Archives. The second image is a close up of the first. It shows a scene from episode 47, where Helen opens a door that’s not supposed to be there.

Helen and Michael stand in an open doorway. Helen stares through it, entranced, and appears to be taking a step forward through the frame. Michael stands next to her, and with a gleeful, slightly crazed smile on his face, looks through the doorway as well.

The space behind them does not match up with what is on the other side of the threshold. The door frame stands in the middle of a hallway with swirly green patterns and many picture frames on the wall. /End ID]

I scanned and coloured it on my computer :))

[ID: two images: the first is the same as before, only higher quality and clearer detail. The second is a coloured version. Gerard has his long hair dyed a blue-ish black, but the shorn part seems blond. His eye shadow is blue and orange and his sweater is a muted brown with orange details. /End ID]
