seriously though 158 and 159 was SUCH good peter content. the whole “he’s a petulant spoiled child bc the lonely never let him grow up” as the final piece of his character was INCREDIBLE. funny but also kind of tragic? lukases be fucked up.

actually. the final piece should be. where did he learn to be so annoying?? he didnt even go to boarding school, so he didnt learn it from other emotionally stunted rich kids. so did he go to university??? is that where he learned to talk like a prerecorded module in management training?????? i guess we’ll never know now 😔

like on one hand, he’s just as much of a monster as any of the other avatars, and i defo wasnt expecting him to live to the end of the series, but also he was such a fun character! i talked a big game about wanting to see martin run him over but i was genuinely sad to see him go!

while ive always seen him more in a comedic light then anything else (seriously though his entire character concept never fails to make me wheeze), ep 158-159 really did add a tragic dimension to him. a similar flavour to agnes, except that the lukases were far more successful in raising a child to become the perfect avatar for their god.

but yeah, i miss the chatty bastard. glad to see a kindred spirit!!

your peter has me so conflicted cause I intrinsically find a smug-yet-evasive older gentleman in a rough-yet-regal occupation like ship's captain Very Sexy, but,,,, I cannot deny the 100% canon accuracy of your insurance salesman with a hat. conceiving of him as such removes his bangability entirely, but i've never seen a peter that more accurately conveys his aura of sinisterly banal, perfunctory politesse. I cant believe you've done this
