The World’s Stage and the World’s Audience

douglysium:

Congratulations, the Beholding is oh so very proud of you. For humanity has made the very world a stage and anyone and everyone can be both the audience and the performer. So many eyes… no, not just eyes, cameras, screens… so much, all recording all staring, all watching. Are you the star today, are you the one being put on stage? Maybe you felt like being the director? Who knows, who can tell when or how anymore if that person is just scrolling or if they have decided to make themselves the director and you the main attraction, the star, or the hero. But maybe your not… maybe your the villain, the clown, the fool, the jester, the loser. Each number, each click, each advertisement has someone staring back. Drinking all that information in and staring right back. There’s nothing you can do about it. It’s too late. They knew you the moment you were born. They were watching before you took your first steps and now they will never let that go. Look, truly and really look, upon the world you have created, and know that every time you gaze into it, every time you move through it, now it stares back. Maybe it doesn’t look all the time but… well, who can tell anymore really?

What’s the point of fucking trying anymore. Why do you struggle, why do you fight, you can’t even do anything right. Can you see your teeth blacken and that roach crawl along the wall? Can you feel your skin boil and the fungus grow as you wither to nothing in that dumpster you call a room. You are disgusting. A disgusting wretched thing to everyone except the crawling rot. Yes, yes, that’s the only thing you can do right. To just sit there and wither away. What’s the point of it all anyway. At the end of the day we all rot away. There is no point in cleaning when everything you’ve work so hard for will become dirty and corrupt, dirty and disgusting, dirty and filthy. Just like you… Just let your rotten heart rot away with your rotten body. Filth like you deserves to be one with the dirt, to answer its call.
