Albrecht just bringing up the books in a weird way in every conversation
Maxwell Rayner is just there sometimes, standing in the corner, also takes his tea with so much fuckin sugar, it could kill a man, mysterious cryptid
Jonathan being the most serious one of the group most of the time, and then just doing the most batshit thing out of nowhere
Every time someone is like “ugh poor people” their clothes get dirty… water, mud, tea, whatever, every single time (they start noticing the pattern after a while)
Every time something embarrassing happens it’s revealed in a dramatic fashion that Jonah has seen it, he’s just there, staring, tea in hand. Sometimes it’s a flashback to explain why he knows random shit that even the Eye wouldn’t give a shit about, he is there only in the flashback… He sees everything
