The Monster is a normal man with a pleasant smile and sharp unsettling eyes that sees too much ; the Monster is a simple man that has kept himself safe for centuries and fed on terror to do so ; the Monster has chosen you, loves you, adores you, needs you to become as Monsterish, perhaps even more so than him, so that you can both be safe, together ; you walked in there with too much curiosity and the door is now locked behind you and although you will feel afraid, the Monster’s call is too beautiful in its horror to resist forever. You will learn to love him ; perhaps you already did ; if you cannot look at yourself in a mirror, it’s fine. He’ll behold you for all eternity instead, as you gorge yourselves in the world you’ve made, together.
