I am 500 words into a 1400 word paper that’s due tonight and I’m gonna take a break now. This is a bad decision. I know this is a bad decision. But I’m gonna do it and I may curse myself out at 9pm when the deadline is within sight and my paper’s still not done but that’s ok. I can bully my future self a little. As a treat.

my assignment went well! It was a paper for criminology class about the Ruby Franke case and (other than it being wildly depressing) it’s actually one of the most interesting cases I’ve seen.

went to class and was shown a video of a guy actually getting murdered and I thought it would like. permanently change my psyche. but that specific slot in my brain is already filled by this one time on my first day of work when a guy got critically injured right in front of me and we had to call 911 and clean his blood off the ground.
