I hate when I’m reading a book that I enjoy but it moves SO SLOWLY that I feel like I am drowning in between every word
Ok but what part are you up to? Because the further you go the conversations get more and more entertaining
I just finished the part where the count leave Alberta house and Mercedes is asking a bunch of questions ab him bc she definitely recognizes him and then the count goes to his house he bought without ever seeing it.
Conversations are WILD but there is just SO much text. So much for so little to happen.
Yeah the story gets pretty intense from that point on. But get ready for a looooooong backstory- if you found the parts with Mercedes boring you might find 3 chapters of Bertuccio’s backstory boring as well.
