answering the question everyone has- “Why on earth does Edette have such horrible taste in characters?”

Ok so here’s some points to have in mind when you realize that I normally like really horrible characters:

( @eddisfargo dw there aren’t any spoilers here- I decided to finally justify my (admittedly) horrible taste in characters)

- my favorite character ISN’T the one I love the most, it’s the one that has the best scenes or lines, or the one who’s story I was the most invested in. For example, in TCOMC I was very invested in Andrea’s story, so he became my favorite. If I would choose the character I love the most it would either be Beauchamp, Albert, or Franz.

- Sometimes I like characters not because of anything they themselves did, but rather because they share similar opinions as me on the other characters in the book/show. If I already dislike certain characters and like other characters, and a new character comes along and shares those opinions, chances are I’m gonna like the new character.

- the character’s cool/smart/talented in some way and I’m interested in seeing more content of them

Ya know I tried to make this longer but honestly that’s it. Everything else I have to say can be summed up using point 1, 2, 3, or some combination of the 3. 

For example, to justify the 5 characters in my top 5 male characters thing I posted a few days ago-

Edmund of Gloucester- point 1

Ash Lynx- point 3

Max- point 3

Andrea Cavalcanti- point 1 and kinda point 2

Yohan Lee- point 3

(Normally there would be more point 2s on the list, it just happens to be that it doesn’t apply to these characters that much)
