I feel like I’m interrupting a conversation (jk I know I’m interrupting a conversation) But hi I’m American, and the only states I can identify on there are New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania (the tri-state area!), California and Texas. We were literally never taught geography.
We were able to memorize the state capitals for extra credit once, but I forgot most of them by now.
