WAIT. So I finished watching The Umbrella Academy a few weeks ago, but I just had a thought. Could Allison go up to one of her siblings and say “I heard a rumor that I got your power” and just.. take their power? And keep it? And use it? Because if so she’s wayyyy more powerful than I originally thought.

Ok ok wait let me explain why I think I may be right about this-
In the episode where it has the flashback from when she made Vanya believe she didn’t have powers, she phrased it like “I heard a rumor that you thought you were ordinary”
Which implies that if she would have said “I heard a rumor that you were ordinary” or “I heard a rumor that you didn’t have powers”, Vanya’s powers would have been gone. For good. And wouldn’t be able to return.
Which means that Allison’s ability is powerful enough to cancel out/ take away other abilities.
And if she can take them away, why not also be able to give them to yourself?
