franz is the tcomc equilvelent of an anime character who’s too overpowered so the author has to have them only show up as a deus ex machina
except instead of being a deus ex machina Franz is just there to cut the tension in heavy scenes
like franz would be so powerful if only he could be there for serious scenes

if he would be there for the rest of the book he’d call everyone out on everything

but no. instead franz just gets to be funny for a few chapters and then disappear until it’s time for noirtier to traumatize him.
