I have a stupid headcanon I’m working into a fanfiction where Jonahlias bastardman Magchard just violently hates what happened to fashion after the Victorian era ended and takes every opportunity he gets to wear what are now considered scandalously tight pants because “baggy pants are DISGUSTING, they have NO CLASS, NO STYLE, you modern PEASANTS have NO sense of FASHION WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU” and and and

listen I love the bastardman Elias staring down a bedraggled Archives crew in an excessively formal suit as much as the next man but consider,,

(I was having trouble finding an image that properly conveyed the level of spandex I desired to convey but then when I found this one I started choking so I knew it was the one)

Elias senses the SECOND that tight-fitting dress pants are once more fashionally acceptable and wears nothing but the slimmest fit in a size smaller than he needs

Everyone is uncomfortable with the boss’s fashion choices. Except Tim. Tim loves it.

Jonah Magnus came of age in the GEORGIAN era friends

Deep down, he still thinks it was a mistake to abandon breeches and hose.

::whispers:: You know who adopted trousers first, Peter? Peasants. These are peasant clothes. This body absolutely has the calves to pull off a nice pair of fall-fronted breeches, but no, look at me, I’m dressed like a farmer.

(That suit is Armani, darling.)

An Italian farmer. Disgusting.

Me seeing the first line of this in my reblogs: they’re right but I hope they didn’t come onto my stupid meme post just to call me out on timelines

Me reading the rest of it: Oh. Oh yes. Oh hell yes. GOOD  ADDITION
