Just some hc’s for Peter’s and Elias’ appearances. They’re both (physically) in their forties.
For Peter, other than some grey hairs, I think Peter would look pretty young for his age since the bastard doesn’t get any sun or talk to people for months on end. Walking Dermatologists Hate Him meme. I don’t recommend his One Weird Trick to anyone. I imagine one of the activities he likes doing for himself is grooming, and probably picked up doing that when he was young so the nannies wouldn’t try doing it for him. He always looks well put-together, like he could throw on a black suit and attend a funeral at a moments notice. He also wears a lot of thick coats, vests, and suits so to avoid skin-on-skin contact and sometimes gloves. All his clothes are tailored and ridiculously expensive. Regarding body type, he’s pretty average. Nothing special. But just looking at him… he’s exactly the sort of obnoxious rich dude you’d expect to make fun of someone for looking like a ‘grubby Jesus’. Will probably throw you into the Lonely if you wear jorts in his presence.
Elias’ age probably shows a little more on his face since he’s more social and expressive than Peter, but he doesn’t have a single grey hair lmao. Perfect platinum blond all the way through. I think he maintains himself pretty well and wears reasonably nice suits, but he doesn’t strike me as a particularly vain man. His looks are tailored more around appearing approachable. It makes it easier to manipulate and deceive people. It’s not unusual for him to go about without a tie or with his suit jacket open. He’s the friendly, caring boss, who doesn’t flaunt his wealth or looks and doesn’t look so put together that you’re too intimidated to be open with him; just someone you can trust… until he isn’t. Where his body in concerned, he maintains himself reasonably well, because he’s… far more concerned with his mortality than Peter, so he has some actual muscle definition and little superfluous fat. Makes extended brutal pipe murder easier when you can do decent swings.
Basically the difference in how they present themselves is that Peter generally wants look unapproachable and frankly doesn’t know how to look like anything but an ‘eat the rich’ billboard even when he’s trying to be superficially friendly, while Elias often strives to look approachable so he can better manipulate people and actually succeeds at it.
I keep on thinking about Elias letting Peter dom one (1) time and he criticises Peter’s ability to tie knots because he never actually does shit on his ship so they’re really uncomfortable knots, and Peter gets offended and leaves him tied up on the floor of his bedroom. And Elias just sits there struggling to free himself with Kill Bill sirens going off in his head.
Tbh I really like the idea of the Lukas family looking unusually young because of how much time they spend indoors/how unsocial and inexpressive they are, so when they die, they always look like they were taken too soon no matter how old they are. Bonus: the Lukas’ rarely, if ever reach life expectancy due to heart issues running in the family.
If they made a family portrait, it’d just be a bunch of pale, grim faces, with no laugh lines and no other signs of a well-lived life. Extremely unsettling to look at. And it would be 100% a cursed painting lmao.

I wish there was more fic or meta that explored the issues Peter would have with intimacy.
We’re talking about a guy who was likely never held as a baby, who grew up devoid of anything but perfunctory physical touch, and whose family treats intimacy as repulsive and sex as an obligation to propagate the family line. Simon references the fact he favours wagers because he doesn’t want to risk ‘any sort of intimacy’ and Peter talks about connecting with people like it’s utterly repellent.
This would be interesting to explore, especially in regard to his dynamic with Elias! Like, how does intimacy eventually happen between them? How do they navigate it? What are their thoughts during the act? Does Peter ever initiate despite his issues? How would his family react to finding out? Would they try to get him into an arranged marriage to conceive children?
Idk, I find this aspect of his character interesting and I’d really love to see it come up more. If anyone happens to have fic or meta recs, feel free to send them my way!
