Summary: “Elias?” he called, his voice scraping its way up his throat.
“Yes, Peter?” came Elias’ answer from somewhere behind him. He must have been watching Peter this entire time, and Peter gritted his teeth in indignation.
“Let me out,” he said.
Elias laughed and crossed the room over to him, the soles of his shoes clicking on the stone floor.
Peter loses a bet and Elias collects in spades.
Note: Make sure you read the tags! This fic is 99% the result of me wanting to write something where Elias literally touches Peter’s heart.
Summary: “Peter.” His eyes flicked over Peter’s stubble, then down to his hand. “You’re looking worse for wear.”
“Yes, well. It’s been an eventful month,” said Peter. “Let’s make this quick, Elias. I’d like to get back to my ship.”
Peter is attacked by a crewmember and left with an injured hand. Elias elects to help him with shaving.
Thinking about Peter knowing how to play the piano, but he doesn’t actually know any premade songs because there’s too much potential connection in that, nor could he play anyone else’s sheet music because he’s completely forgotten how to read sheet music that isn’t his own. Over the years, he’s developed his own musical notation system that only he can decipher. Anything he plays comes completely from his own head and is never shared with anyone.
Anyway, Elias hears Peter playing one time and enjoys it, but ofc Peter doesn’t want to perform for him (that’s ~connection~ Elias, ew), so Elias has to be sneaky about listening.
