Every time I remember Peter got so depressed after Gertrude fucked up his ritual that he spent years sulking about it I’m like, wow, this man has the mental fortitude of wet paper.

I keep thinking about the fact Peter has an extended lifespan and could potentially look a lot younger than he is… I mean, I prefer him with some lines and grey hairs (salt and pepper is an extremely hot look imo), but there’s nothing in canon that describes what he looks like beyond ‘pale’, so he could look pretty young for someone in their 40s or so.
Which is amusing to think about with LonelyEyes, because people would keep side-eying them the older Elias gets while Peter stagnates. Imagine: one time they have dinner together at a restaurant and a lady pulls Peter aside after and gives him a phone number while telling him ‘you don’t have to do this, dear… give this person a call they’ll get you a real job’ and he’s confused about this until Elias informs him, while visibly trying not to laugh, that the lady thought he was a rent boy (he also has to explain what a rent boy is, probably).

The fact Peter just waits around invisible for opportunities to jumpscare Martin when he mentions Peter’s name and then giggles about it….. and apparently does this SO MUCH that Martin has had to scold him for it. Just, lmao.
Peter is considered a pretty unusual example of a Lukas because of how friendly and chatty he can be, and he clearly didn’t learn that from his family… so what if he learned that from Simon? What if he met Simon as a kid and basically started emulating the way Simon speaks to people? Simon is really good at the whole ‘disarmingly friendly despite being a horror monster’ thing, and Peter had to learn that somewhere.

[Extended sounds of brutal pipe murder.]

I was reading the transcript of 013, and honestly, this is such a disturbing section. The Lukas’ tailor definitely didn’t have Evan’s measurements since he’d been away from the family for a long time, which means they would have had to measure Evan’s dead body… and I doubt this is an uncommon request from the Lukas family, since they have a lot of funerals.
And, as disturbing as it is, these lines serve as a clever way to emphasize how different the Lukas’ are to Evan even through something as basic as clothing. They are the kinds of people to dress in ‘perfectly tailored’ suits; they are cold, grim and rich, prim and unapproachable, while Evan was warm and approachable and wouldn’t even dress like his family unless he was too dead to protest.
Okay, depressing stuff aside, I think the fact the Lukas’ probably go around looking like the men in black 99% of the time has the potential to be funny with LonelyEyes, because Elias could win a bet and make Peter go to a family gathering in these:

Peter just sweats profusely as he walks into a family gathering with booty shorts on. Everyone is wearing perfectly tailored black suits, and he’s there with his ass out. His uncle looks like he’s about to have an aneurysm. He’s pretty sure Conrad actually does have an aneurysm. Elias, meanwhile, is wheezing with laughter in his office.
