i rly only want one thing from je fanfiction and that’s jon coming to elias’ office to face him in his seat of power, exhausted, bedraggled, resigned to his fate, a willing lamb to the slaughter… and then for elias to snap and lose his calm and composed academic mask completely and ravish jon over his mahogany desk
society if knowledge and secrets (the Eye) vs. narrative and meaning (the Web) wasn’t presented as a strict dichotomy where one Fear alone developed the ability to Think but rather our amorphous blob of terror being an exploration of epistemology and metafiction. society if there was at the very least an actual discussion of the Spider’s desire to proliferate in and feed on infinite realities being the same hunger that drove Jonah Magnus and how they both deified the same man over it, making him the site of violence in this cosmic struggle between fate and free will.
love any implication that jon is elias’ possession. because like first of all let me be clear he is. he’s mr magnus’ archive. but at the same time it’s so ridiculous just the idea that what elias has made jon into is something that he can own. trying to use insect pins to hold down a god (SCREAMS)
