A little while ago I was thinking, “I have such a specific image of Martin Blackwood in my head; I wonder where that comes from. Like, did my brain come up with that or is it based on something?”
And then the new season of What We Do in the Shadows premiered and people started reblogging gifs of Guillermo and I was like, “Ah. I see.”
I always forget that the Monster Pig episode comes immediately after the Bug Wife episode. I know there’s an in-universe reason for why the two biggest “what am I supposed to do with this information?” episodes are back to back (Jon’s retracing Gertrude’s steps as she chased down dead ends) but it’s still so funny to me. We’re just hit with:
