I’ve been revisiting season two of the Magnus Archives, and I just want to call attention to this line:

Like, obviously the knowledge that Martin has a crush on him makes this funnier, but even setting that aside, can we take a second to appreciate the fact that his theories for why Martin is being nice to him are:

1. He’s lazy, or

2. He’s evil

and the idea that Martin could just be genuinely nice (or, y’know, genuinely concerned for him after he almost got eaten by worms) just never occurs to him?
