She’s haunting the narrative she’s a badass she’s a #girlboss she’s a war criminal she’s more cardigan than woman she’s one of the few female characters I know of who gets to be not only legitimately morally gray but also old she saved the world like 15 times but also maybe she didn’t? Her usual strategy for saving the world was murder and/or explosives but one time she just wrote an editorial in the Guardian. She’s ruthless. If she had to exist in the post-apocalypse she would just give up. She was a great adoptive mom to a 30(?)-something goth. It’s unclear if she was truly capable of caring for another human being. I kind of want her to be my grandma. It’s possible that she completely decimated an apocalypse cult to get revenge for her cat.
