He steps into that cafe with his own issues brewing in his mind, and his gaze glances right off the few people occupying the tables. He doesn’t give the person seated at the window seat a second glance, only wrinkles his nose when the smoke wafts his direction. He hates it when they smoke.

It’s this thought that catches in his mind. It makes him frown as he approaches the counter, where a cashier shoots him a bland yet expectant look. For some reason his heart rate is picking up.
