jonelias is fun because it can go: secret office romance with power imbalance (boss/employee AND age gap). enemies AND lovers. exes that repeatedly betrayed each other and are on different sides technically, while also still being drawn to each other due to being avatars of the same power and maybe possibly being attracted to each other in no small part because of that. straight up “i hate you and what you made of me, i need to destroy you, i still yearn for you” vs “i love you, i love what you’ve become and that it is because of me but not even you can stop me (but if there’s one person who could, it would be you)”
Current brand of jonelias still stuck on office romcom it's so good. Everyone is so worried about Elias abusing his authority and constantly hitting on his poor employee and everyone else is wondering how the hell jon hasn't been fired yet
There’s definitely an office bet on whether or not they’re together, or just when it’s going to happen. I also just love the idea of Jon being completely oblivious for the longest time and Elias is like JON PLEASE
