I really believe that one of Jon's greatest fears is being perceived as unintelligent. That's why in the beginning of 119 he seemed to be hit so much harder than the others (e.g., Tim still managed to be fueled by purpose, Basira by common sense, etc.) ... I might just be projecting because I am terrified of The Stranger lol

I can see this actually being canon tbh. I absolutely agree with this hc completely!! (Also, the stranger is absolutely terrifying)
