I absolutely adore the idea of Elias bringing Jon to his house for the first time under the guise of checking out his personal library. And of course Jon keeps coming back because it’s truly a wonderful library plus it’s quiet and personal. Elias keeps bringing him coffee and biscuits (he’s not great at baking which is ironic considering how old he is, but he wants to learn for Jon) it becomes a kind of routine and eventually Elias just insists Jon move in because rent is expensive in London and he’s already here more than his own flat.
