On one hand I’m ill over jonelias because it’s so fascinating how yes, Jon is Elias’ exception, and that isn’t a good thing, that is what damns him, and the fact he wasn’t the chosen one because of destiny, he was chosen by Elias, and the fact Elias is the only one who could possibly understand what’s going on with Jon and the fact he has no choice BUT to seek his comfort. But also it’s just so funny. Terrifying detached puppetmaster takes one look at this sleep deprived paranoid workaholic college student, who is severely traumatized and desperately seeking some control over his life, some sense of safety, and who seems intent on fucking up every relationship he’s ever had, and goes “I want that one.” Insane. This extremely put together well mannered cruel villain and a protagonist who hasn’t slept in ten years and shittalks his employees on tape. Funniest duo ever.
