Grey eyes opened onto a world utterly unfamiliar to him. The first thing he noticed was the sound of a man crying. The second thing he noticed was that he felt like he had been stabbed. Wearily lifting his head, he looked down at his stomach.Oh.
He had been stabbed. That explains that.
Hmm.
Lifting a hand that did not look like his own, he placed it over the sluggishly bleeding wound that was somehow starting to heal.
Jonah was pretty sure he didn’t normally heal that fast.
