Could you maybe do something for jonelias or peterjonelias about Jon being touched starved or just about touch in general? Is okie if not, I’ve just been having thoughts for days about this stuff
God, Jon is so painfully touch starved. He’s been that way since childhood but it becomes even worse as canon progresses and his only contact with other people becomes associated with fear and pain.
Whether their relationship is healthy or not, Elias takes advantage of this immediately. He’s uncomfortably touchy in general, but after they get together, Elias is ALWAYS touching him. He drags fingers across Jon’s shoulders, presses a hand to the small of his back to steer him around a room, wraps an arm around his waist at events. He’s so tactile and it just makes Jon melt.
Getting that from Peter is considerably more difficult though, for obvious reasons. It takes a long time for them to figure it out, but eventually they discover that absolutely silent cuddling is perfect for them. Jon will crawl onto Peter’s lap while he’s working and just fall asleep. They spoon together in bed on lazy afternoons, dozing off in the comforting stillness with the Lonely muffling the world around them. Occasionally, Peter will bring himself to run his fingers through Jon’s hair for a little bit or press a kiss on his forehead.
It works for them. They’re happy.
