I adore the vast. We are all insignificant in the face of the universe, vast skies an open waters and we are just small specks in between the two, not quite knowing what’s out there, and we will never know. There are millions of billions of universes and we are just within one, on a rock, floating through time while we slowly rot away. Even here on Earth, we’re still tiny and insignificant because of how large the planet is. Within the grand scheme of things we are nothing and no one ever at any point in time. And the vast forces you to remember this.
