I really like JonMartinElias. I tried for a good while to put my thoughts into coherency about all the ways in which it can make them grow as characters and confront flaws in their behavior and ideas. How it can help them accept themselves, and get over past slights. How it can be fluffy (Jon getting taken care of is everything to me) and angsty (Martin feeling inferior, Elias being a bastard [and also maybe getting just a bit attached and not acknowledging it cough], Jon having to war between humanity and comfort), and the tragedy of finally getting to love someone only for that love to not be strong enough to stop the brutal end. How hurt Jmart would be, and how they’d react- it’s just so interesting to me!!

Also it just brings out the worst in them and I love that in a ship.

You are so right, Anon. They should absolutely be madly in love and also become the worst possible versions of themselves :D

Except Elias. Elias already is the worst possible version of himself.

Might I suggest: Elias encouraging Martin’s jealousy and manipulative tendencies. Elias and Jon being judgmental and elitist. Martin feeling left out because he’s human, Jon feeling left out because he’s asexual, Elias feeling left out because they’re so much younger and more innocent than he is… The potential is endless.

And Elias betraying them in the end is just :(((((( Jmart having to fight and murder their lover ;-;
