Every time I see a joke about how Sasha “I like to staple archival documents together and meet up with inhuman monsters alone in deserted areas without telling anyone and casually violate my coworker’s privacy by hacking their files” James would have been a much more competent archivist than Jon and would have effortlessly seen through Elias’ lies because she is a flawless queen I sever approximately a dozen optic nerves from rolling my eyes so hard.

Seriously this is my supervillain origin story.

She would’ve been a more competent Archivist in that she’d have nose dived into eldritch power corruption even faster than Jon and burned out or been murdered within a year. Girl already had no brakes on the privacy violation train and no sense of self preservation whatsoever.

@derinthescarletpescatarian: #I feel similarly when people write Elias as being canonically sexist#like it’s a possibility I guess but there’s nothing to indicate he gives one whit about gender beyond the fact that#two centuries ago he happened to be a rich Victorian dude#Tim calling him promoting Jon sexist bullshit was an assumption that Tim made that turned out to be incorrect#because Tim didn’t know about the fear mark plan etc

@gradually-watermel0n: #THIS#all of this#these bug me so hard every time#i hate that it’s her most common fanon characterization#and how is elias sexist by not making sasha the archivist? he was literally the one who appointed gertrude#he’s awful but not like this#i almost need to stop reading time travel fics at this point#because so often they write jon apologizing to sasha and saying she should have been the archivist#when she’s definitely not qualified either#THAT WAS THE POINT
