Skrunkly is a very unusual cat. He is obsessed with human food and keeps trying to jump on Tim’s laptop. Honestly, I think Tim might be getting a little too excited. He keeps sending me screenshots of Skrunklys “writings”, or videos where the cat is acting “Just like a human!” (I can’t really tell anything from that shaky camera, Skrunkly just seems like a very curious little guy that is obsessed with toilets).
I just hope Tim doesn’t get too attached, in case the owner shows up again.
Still no leads on Martin. It feels like we are running in circles. Elias mentioned that he’ll take care of the missing persons case, which surprised me. Doesn’t this seem like something his family should be doing? I don’t wish to pry but I’m rapidly running out of ideas on where he could be. John hasn’t been replying to my messages either.
On a lighthearted note, I can’t tell if Tim has changed a lot since taking in the cats or if I just hadn’t noticed how different his life had become since we ended our … Very brief relationship. I’m saying this because I now have a much more insight on him due to several “cat updates” per day. Especially of Skrunklys shenanigans.

Tim has been complaining about Skrunkly becoming more unruly in his home. He should’ve probably seen this coming after adopting two supposed strays on a whim, but he has surprisingly little experience with cats. I feel a little bad for him shouldering the burden of those two, so I pitched in with some direly needed cat furniture … Maybe that’s an excuse. I wanted to gift him this thing for ages, I just had no reason to.
I found out a while ago, that Tim seems to really enjoy circus themed items. At first, I just noticed the growing collection on his desk, so I gave him a little clown puppet for a Christmas gift and it’s just become a thing since then whenever I stumble across a circus-related trinket. The rest of the staff caught on fast, so he gets showered every birthday since. He has this bit where he pretends to be severely unexcited about it, which I find hilarious.
It’s a little lonely in the archives. With Martin disappearing and John having apparently gone of the radar as well it’s just me and Tim here. Even Elias it home sick with a cold. Luckily there is more than enough work to do, I think I might have a lead.
