I think part of jon’s whole thing is like. he has such low self worth that at any given time he can’t tell the difference between rational and irrational guilt. he has a constant background noise of feeling like he should have already died on several occasions that he has to push past in order to just walk around and breathe air, so the guilt of forcing statements from people and hiding it from everyone feels identical and he can’t really tell that that’s a significantly worse thing to do than merely existing. he already feels like living is a morally dubious indulgence on his part so anything else that feels like that must be on a similar level of badness.
Some sketches of an extremely self indulgent post-series AU. Just… Jon being a single ‘dad’ and working as a barista can be something so personal, y’know?
Did more sketches. Still don’t have an actual plot yet though. Maybe someday ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
M…m…more…

[ID: Two-part digital drawing depicting Basira, Daisy, and Jon from TMA. In the top panel, Basira, a chubby woman with medium brown skin and shoulder-length curly hair, sits on the lip of a bathtub in a warmly lit bathroom. She’s wearing a blue oversized jumper and dark blue leggings. She faces Daisy, a thin, pale-skinned blonde woman with many scars, who sits in the bath. Basira is combing out Daisy’s matted hair as Daisy stares down into the bathwater with a haunted expression. The visible parts of the bathtub and Daisy’s hair and skin are caked with dirt.
The bottom panel depicts Jon, alone in a darkened room, hugging his knees to his chest in a clawfoot bathtub. Light filters in from the open doorway and there is a candle on the lip of the tub. A filthy shirt and pair of trousers sit on the floor beside it. Jon’s dark, greying hair is also matted and filthy. He stares vacantly and a tear runs down his face. End ID.]
