Call me toxic but if you were to tell me that the only reason you were in a relationship with me was because of shared trauma and that without said trauma (that ended the world, natch) you wouldn’t be with me and that you also don’t want that trauma bonding to be meaningless… I wouldn’t say it was sweet of you to say that. But nah it’s fine Jon doesn’t deserve to have a few minutes of pretend with the person he loves. He has to be reminded that he’s an awful human being who caused the end of the world and that Martin only loves him because he has no other options.
