oh my GOD i have so many thoughts. “that’ll be our Gerard” drives me insane. what do you MEAN. why did you have to say it like that. he nearly killed this man what do you mean OUR GERARD. jon was in love with that man long before he met him. lord.
and “i always wanted me friends to call me gerry.” like… fuck?? like. its heavily implied gerry’s literally never had a friend. jon hasn’t had many friends either. if gerry hadnt. yknow. died a year before the series started they would have been soooooo insane. drives me bonkers.
“do you like it?” insane. i n s a n e. and then “i suppose i do”???? you just met this guy and youre telling him that? youre already comfortable enough to admit one of your darkest secrets. and the. the lack of judgement. gerry’s in this too, in a way no one else in jons life really is.
god. if gerry qasnt. dead. they interacted for like 20 minutes and they have SUCH a good dynamic, like, i need to fucking dissect their episode, my god. fuuuck. if gerry had been alive. i think things would have worked out better im all im saying. i think maybe they couldve fixed each other.
