The morally correct choice at the end of The Magnus Archives was to prevent multiversal suffering by any means necessary as it was their duty to prevent the spread of something they unintentionally caused to happen. The others spent most of the prior seasons driving accountability for actions into Jon, then spat on it once he learned his lesson. All because accountability meant murder, and the idea that there would be repercussions was untenable. To the bitter end they refused to SEE that their actions also had consequences, and survival is not the same as living. Acceptance of guilt and remorse means NOTHING when it BLINDS YOU to acting on the KNOWLEDGE of what you are capable of doing to others. Because understanding is not the same as doing. And doing nothing is not an option.
