the fact that the show states John just doesn’t have sex, and yet that’s never questioned or challenged, and he gets into a major romantic relationship and it never comes up as a point of contention is so so important to me. And while john starts off pretending to be cold and analytical, it’s all an act because actually he is one of the most compassionate and caring characters in the entire show. He just means so much to me as far as ace rep goes he’s so good and I love him so much
